With these drink concoctions that can be made in our Nutri Personal Blender, you can fight summer thirst and have a refreshing drink on hand whenever you need it. Homemade juices and drinks are healthier than store bought ones, giving you full control of the ingredients and saving you from all the added sugars and sweeteners that are found in pre-made options.

Watermelon Mint Cooler

Cold and frothy, this sweet and delicious frozen watermelon beverage is just as popular with adults as it is with kids. The watermelon adds plenty of sweetness which means there is no need for any extra sugar, meaning it’s also a healthier option. First, you want to freeze approximately 2 cups of chopped watermelon, which will give it the frothy consistency. Once frozen, add your watermelon to the blender, completing it with fresh mint leaves and a quarter cup of coconut water to give it some extra freshness.

Cucumber, Grapefruit & Ginger Juice

Even without a juicer, making juice can be extremely easy with a blender, requiring little more than a strainer to get rid of any pulp. The hydrating qualities of cucumber combined with the sweetness of grapefruit is enough to be delicious on its own, but the ginger really adds to this beverage, giving it an extra hit of flavour. Peel your ingredients, adding all the grapefruit and half the cucumber to the blender with a slice of ginger. Top it up with cold water and blend until there are no visible chunks. Once you are happy with the consistency, get a fine mesh strainer and pour it through to take out the pulp, leaving just the refreshing juice to enjoy in the sun. You can also add sliced cucumber to your glass for extra freshness.

Iced Strawberry Slush

Everyone loves a strawberry. They are refreshing, sweet, and can be used for almost every sweet treat, ranging from cakes and bakes to this fantastically easy drink recipe. Thanks to the blender you don’t have to fiddle around with cutting up the strawberries, just add them in with some squeezed lemon and blend until it forms a puree. Once you’re happy with the consistency, add your ice and pulse until it forms a slush. Don’t over blend your slush, however, as this can cause the ice to melt quickly, making it thinner than you’d want it to be. Once you’re happy with it, serve it in some glasses and top it with a slice of lemon for a crowd-pleasing summer refreshment.
